craig eastaugh


Craig Eastaugh started his maritime career in 1985 and spent 15 years at sea with BHP Transport as a cadet and deck officer.

Craig has been a marine pilot for 20 years, starting his first pilotage job at the now defunct oil terminal of Port Stanvac (Adelaide).

He subsequently worked as a pilot / deputy Harbour Master in northern Tasmania (at the ports of Bell Bay and Devonport) for 9 years and also completed an MBA (Maritime and Logistics Management) through the AMC.

Craig has been in his current position as a Port Hedland pilot for 10 years and is a board member of AMPI (since 2013) and chairs its Continuous Professional Development committee.
