Glenn Attrill has been in the shipping industry since 1993 when commencing a cadetship with BHP Transport.
After qualifying as a deck officer Glenn combined a career on a wide variety of ships both domestically and internationally with a long period of work in Europe and North America as professional racing yachtsman.
Glenn has competed in 13 Sydney to Hobart Races, 5 Fastnet Races and was part of a winning crews in the Farr 40 world championships and the Admiral's Cup.
Glenn's last seagoing role was as Chief Mate on the RSV Aurora Australis completing several voyages to resupply the Australian Antarctic bases including Macquarie Island.
Glenn currently works as a pilot and LNG loading master for Woodside Energy in the port of Dampier Western Australia.
